Some Southern trains running through Croydon will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.
The work will affect trains between January 11 (Saturday) and January 12 (Sunday).
We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.
Engineering work occurs between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport, closing all lines.
Saturday (January 11):
From 11.45pm until the end of service, buses will replace trains between:
East Croydon and Gatwick Airport / Horsham
East Croydon / Purley and Caterham / Tattenham Corner
Redhill and Reigate
Redhill and Tonbridge
Additionally, the 11.36pm train from Tonbridge to Redhill service will not run.
Sunday (January 12):
All day on Sunday, no trains will run between East Croydon and Redhill, Gatwick Airport, Reigate, Tonbridge, Caterham, and Tattenham Corner.
A reduced service will run between London Victoria and East Croydon.
A direct, but diverted, Southern train service will run between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport, calling at Clapham Junction; this service will have extended service times.
A reduced train service will run between London Victoria and East Croydon.
Replacement bus services will run between:
Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges and East Grinstead
East Croydon and Redhill
Redhill and Gatwick Airport
Redhill and Reigate / Tonbridge
Purley and Tattenham Corner
Additionally, the 12.23am train from Redhill to Tonbridge service will not run, and the 1.10am train from London Victoria to Brighton service will be diverted to terminate at East Grinstead.
Engineering work is taking place between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction, closing some lines.
All day on Sunday, no Southern trains will run between Shepherd’s Bush and Watford Junction.
You should use alternative services via any reasonable route to complete your journey.
