BBC The Traitors fans predict downfall for contestant after murder ‘casts suspicion’

Viewers of The Traitors say they have predicted the downfall for one particular contestant after murder ‘casts suspicion’ among the group.

Fans have been glued to the edge of their seats for this series of The Traitors and Thursday’s episode (January 16) was full of even more lies, manipulation and shocking murders.

As the contestants gathered for their daily breakfast together, in a flashback from the previous night, it was revealed that Anna had been murdered.

However, fans were left confused and predicted the downfall of Traitor Minah after Anna was the only person who voted for her during the banishment ceremony the day before.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Killing Anna makes Minah look guilty as hell, dumb move #TheTraitorsUK.

Another fan took to the social media platform to pen: “Getting rid of Anna was such a risky move #TheTraitorsUK.”

Somebody else asked: “#TheTraitorsUK Isn’t Anna’s murder going to cast suspicion on Minah?”

Yet another passionately wrote: “NAHHHH people are gonna get suspicious of Minah now because Anna voted for her yesterday #TheTraitorsUK.”

A fifth expressed: “Murdering Anna could direct even more heat onto Minah because Anna brought up her name. I hope that this week doesn’t end in the banishment of Minah #TheTraitorsUK.”

While a sixth fan added: “I really hope the faithfuls pick up on the fact that Anna was suspicious of Minah before she was murdered… if they don’t they’re utterly useless. #TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK.”

The episode began with Traitor Minah meeting at the front of the castle to attempt to try and seduce Charlotte into becoming a Traitor alongside her.

After telling her to join her as a Traitor or be murdered that night, Charlotte agreed to become a Traitor as the two ladies went back to the castle.

The pair discussed who should be murdered, and after narrowing it down to Anna, Linda and Jake, Minah and Charlotte decided on Anna.

As the numbers dwindle and only 11 players are left in the game, the contestants have begun turning on one another with suspicions at an all-time high.

The episode ended with Alex receiving the most votes and being banished from the castle, leaving his co-stars shocked after he revealed that he was, in fact, a Faithful.

The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
