BBC Traitors legend reveals ‘slow’ strategy to win the game

A former star turned legend of BBC series The Traitors has shared the ‘slow’ strategy remaining contestants should be adopting in order to win the game.

Jaz Singh, who appeared in the second series of the reality gameshow has exclusively revealed the game plan he would be adopting if he was back in the castle. Jaz quickly became a popular figure among viewers on the show and eventually earned the title of Jaz-atha Christie after.

Speaking on behalf of SlotsCalendar, Jaz admitted he would be ’99 per cent’ certain of catching out one of the Traitors in the current series. He said: “I mean, you can never be 100% in that game ever, but you can be as close as 99 per cent. And if I’m being honest, try, try my best not to be cocky here and not tarnish that Jazatha Christie claim. But I’d be 99 per cent sure that I’d be catching Linda.”

“I’d be planting as many seeds as possible, because if Jake was able to catch her with that head bop at the beginning and now with the crocodile tears, when Livi failed to turn up at breakfast for me, that is adding so many signs that she is a potential Traitor. I would would Just lean into that as much as possible and then because no one’s been bringing up Minah, I would look at the people that no one is ever mentioning.”

Jaz also claimed that singling out a Traitor amongst the majority of Faithfuls is ‘one billiion per cent’ more difficult than what viewers watching on at home may feel.

He added: “It (spotting a Traitor) is a lot harder, being in that whole experience. Viewer privilege is such a sweet thing because this is the first time that I’ve been able to watch it and as somebody that’s been in the castle and got to the final and lived through the entire experience, it is so difficult.”

“I cannot express how hard it is. When you’ve got an idea, a notion of who it possibly could be, it’s so hard to sort of back yourself but you have to go with your gut and every single time that you’re encouraged to go with your gut, your head and your heart then If you get it wrong, you almost feel as though you’re starting from scratch.”

However, the former contestant who made it so close to claiming the cash prize only to be undone by eventual winner and Traitor Harry, has shared his advice. Ultimately, he believes they all need to take it slow.

“I feel for the Faithfuls because they’re not looking too good. If I’m honest. I’m ready for them to just give me a quick dial and I’ll be ready, you know. They need to work slowly and take small steps. It’s all about listening to people like Jake and really harnessing all the evidence. For example on Linda because there’s been a few people mentioning her name after the crocodile tears.”

“I think her time is due to cut short. However, the beauty about this game is that it’s so unpredictable. You have no idea when someone’s time is up. Even though her name’s been brought to attention, it’s not so much enough to to get banished so she could potentially last until the end.”

The Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer
