Bexleyheath BID is offering people the chance to transform into a festive elf for a family fun picture opportunity.
The popular Come as Yourself, Leave as an Elf event returns on Monday, December 23 – but booking in advance is required via the Bexleyheath BID website for those wanting to take part in the free experience.
Visitors can start at the elves’ workshop by Cafe Nero in Bexleyheath Broadway shopping centre and collect an Elf Service form.
Trainee elves then need to visit the elf stations to learn all the tips and tricks to become an official helper.
If you complete all four stops you can then step into the elves’ workshop to capture a special photo of their new look.
These photos will be available to download from the Broadway and Bexleyheath Town Centre Facebook pages.
While you’re there, you could take time to explore the Festive Market, which will be open daily until Christmas Eve.
The market features a range of food and gift stalls, offering something for everyone. Food lovers can enjoy bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, noodles, churros and more.
There are also sweet treats like German cakes and luxury chocolates.
For those searching for Christmas presents, the market has plenty of options, including cheeses, artisan products and other festive goodies.
The Come as Yourself, Leave as an Elf event runs from 1.30pm to 3pm on December 23, but the festive market will continue daily.
These events are organised by Bexleyheath BID, a business-led organisation established in 2011 by local businesses as a Business Improvement District.
The BID aims to enhance the local trading environment by bringing together like-minded business people to positively impact the community.
