A CAR in Pontypool has had all four car-door windows smashed in latest act of crime that has affected the area.
A witness, who does not want to be named, said he was walking his sister’s dog when he saw a group of people smash all four windows of the car’s door.
The witness said it happened in the early hours of the morning.
Pontypool has experienced a spate of anti-social behaviour this year, which councillors were told was result of a ‘perfect storm’.
The witness to the most recent crime said: “There are a lot of people who are affected by it.”
A spokesperson from Gwent Police said: “We received a report of criminal damage, after car windows were allegedly smashed in Pontnewynydd Industrial Estate, on Tuesday 29 October.
“Enquires are ongoing to identity of those involved.
