A dad-of-three who died after being found seriously injured in Acton has been pictured for first time.
Nash Clyne, 33, died in Birkbeck Road at around 4am on December 8 after reports of a fight and possible shots heard.
Three others were also injured in the incident, none of their injuries are thought to be life threatening.
Benjamin Matthews, 50, was arrested and charged with murder and will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (December 10)
Friends of Clyne have paid tribute to him, saying he was a “father figure in the community”, according to Metro.
Shevonte Thomas, a childhood friend who went to school with him, told Metro: “He was a great, cool guy. He had three kids.
“He liked cooking and when we were young playing football. I don’t know how this could have happened. He was a nice, quiet guy.”
The nature and cause of the injuries have yet to be confirmed.
A 34-year-old man was arrested yesterday (December 9) on suspicion of GBH in relation to the wider disorder which took place.
He remains in custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command leads the investigation and said: “A team of experienced detectives is working at pace to establish why Nash was murdered and bring those responsible to justice.
“We are urging anyone who was in the area or who knows anything about what happened to come forward.
“We particularly want to hear from anyone who was at the Front Line Cuts barber shop or the Paradise Cuts barber shop, both in Acton High Street, between 22:00hrs on Saturday and 04:30hrs on Sunday.
“What you know, however insignificant it may seem now, could hold the key to this investigation.”
