Speaking about her childhood, Janine said: “Even at that young age of [around 12, I felt] that as beautiful as my hometown is, and as much as I love it, I was really desperate to get out because I knew it just didn’t offer me enough.” As her success grew on screen Janine took part in many reality TV shows, including winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2012.

She also has some dance experience as she took part in and won the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special in 2011. Charlie was partnered with Vincent Simone and danced a jive to Santa Claus Is Coming To Town to earn her the top spot.

It has been reported that Charlie, 46, is in a relationship with TV producer James Fuller. The producer, who has worked on a series of high-profile adverts, is thought to have met Charlie in 2024. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.

It’s Charlie’s first public romance following her split from her boyfriend of six years, Ben Hollington, in 2018. She has a daughter with Ibiza club owner Tony Truman, who she split from in 2007, and previously spoke of their unusual set-up, revealing in 2021 that he lived in a flat above her and Ben.

She explained how the trio were super close as they raised Charlie and Tony’s daughter Kiki together. Speaking on Yahoo UK’s White Wine Question Time podcast, she said: “My ex-partner Ben, who I was with for five or six years, who’s an amazing human being, you know, we woke up on Christmas Day together, all of us.

“Tony would come down, we’d all get into bed and open the presents together with Kiki, cos she adores Ben… I was with Ben before that for five or six years, who was just really accepting. Tony absolutely adored him, we all went on holiday together. Tony cried when me and Ben broke up. He actually cried.”
