TWO Carmarthenshire men have pleaded guilty to selling cocaine and cannabis.
Alex John and Joshua Jenkins appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with seven drug offences between them dating from mid-2022 to January 1 last year.
21-year-old John, of Lon Y Prior in St Clears, was charged with possession with intent to supply both cocaine and cannabis on New Year’s Day last year.
He was further accused of being concerned in the supply of the drugs between July 10, 2022, and the date of his arrest.
Jenkins, 30, of Station View in Tumble, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply on January 1, 2023, as well as being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis between September 2, 2022, and January 1, 2023.
John, previously of Water Street in Carmarthen, and Jenkins both pleaded guilty to all charges.
The court heard that Jenkins had entered a basis of plea, which prosecutor Sian Cutter indicated was not accepted in full.
She said the CPS disputed the idea that Jenkins was not selling drugs with the aim of making financial gains for himself, as the debt he owed appeared to not equate to the length of time he was dealing.
Judge Geraint Walters adjourned the case for both defendants to enter a definitive basis of plea.
They will return to court on January 10, and were granted bail until that date.
