WARNING: This article contains spoilers from the recent episode of The Traitors.
Fans of The Traitors have had their say on the Fozia and Linda rivalry, as both contestants were booted off the latest episode of the psychological adventure game show. On Wednesday evening, January 15, viewers got to see the fate of both Leon and Fozia as they competed against each other in the nerve-wracking Death Match card game.
When Fozia was eliminated in person by The Traitors, fans were loving the salty back and forth between her and Linda, calling their exchange “camp” and that it was Linda’s ‘finest moment’

When the pair were asked about Fozia’s ‘murder,’ on exit show, Uncloaked – which airs directly after each new episode of The Traitrors ends, on BBC2 – and how she told Linda she wasn’t “going to last” they were in high spirits, but there was still a bit of spikiness between the pair.
On the fact that Linda told Fozia to “get over it”, Linda recalled: “I was laughing, walking away because I thought her reaction was so funny. ‘You’re going to go tomorrow’.”
When asked about their rivalry, Fozia said: “I just knew, deep down, there were two gangsta grannies in this, and one of them is definitely a Traitor. It was the fact that she barely spoke around the round table, voting randomly. You did a lot of that.” Linda interjected: “But that’s me. Ask my family – I’m random. I’m totally random.”
Many fans have had their say on the pair. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “Fozia is absolutely amazing and hilarious! She would have made an incredible traitor—it would have spiced up the game so much more!”.
Another fan responded with: “‘GET OVER IT’ is not only Linda’s finest moment but the greatest moment in Traitors history!” Another fan described the interaction between the two as “camp”, while another viewer said: “That ‘get over it’ from Linda to Fozia was quite something.”.
The morning after Fozia’s murder fellow contestants in the castle were told that four people, selected by the Traitors, had taken part in the card game – Anna, Alexander, Leon and Fozia, with three saved but missing, and one ‘dead’. In a challenge, the contestants had to find and save the three that were missing, who turned out to be Anna, Alexander and Leon. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.
Sadly, it was confirmed that Fozia had lost in a game of Death Match when Leon picked up a life card from the table, meaning she was ‘murdered’ by the traitors. Unbeknownst to the rest of her fellow contestants, Fozia got to meet the Traitors before she left, which were Linda and Minah.
This reveal all but confirmed Fozia’s suspicions all along that Linda was a Traitor. As Linda and Minah walked off, Fozia warned Linda that she would be next to leave. And true to Fozia’s words, Linda was indeed the next contestant to fall.
In a tense exchange over the round table, the majority of the contestants voted out Linda, including her fellow Traitor Minah. Once banished, Linda confirmed she was a Traitor, which came as a relief to Faithful Jake who had suspected the opera singer from day one.

Although fans were sad to see both Linda and Fozia go in the seventh episode of the series, viewers got to see the two reunited once again in the visual podcast The Traitors: Uncloaked. On the sofa, the pair were joined by presenter Ed Gamble, as well as comedians Jo Brand and Josh Widdicombe, as well as series two Faithful-turned-Traitor Miles.
During their reunion, the pair embraced each other with Fozia saying: “It’s good to see you”. She then continued: “I’m so happy to see you. I was looking forward to seeing a few of the others, but I was waiting for a slippery snake to come through that door.”
In the episode, the two got to find out a few secrets about their fellow contestants, including the fact that Charlotte was born and lived in London while her Welsh accent was fake. “I don’t know what that’s going to get her,” said Fozia. The pair also found out that Flintshire-born Leanne was an army officer and not a nail technician. Linda remarked that she now understood as Leanne was “really strong”.
A bit later on the sofa, when asked what did Linda initially think of Fozia, she said: “I thought she was a bit of a character. And I understood that the two newbies who came in for that first night on the round table weren’t supposed to make any comments on the play. But madam here, she absolutely spoke up, and I thought, what is she doing? She’s not supposed to be speaking. And I thought, wow, she’s got a really strong character. And she was right in there”.
When Fozia was asked about her experience of playing the Death Match, she recalled: “I wasn’t ready to go, put it that way.” When asked specifically about the time Anna took Fozia’s life card during the game, and the fact she didn’t take the card back, she said: “I could have, but eagle-eyed next door to me – Alexander, I couldn’t have got it past him.”

She continued: “So I thought, you know what? Let her go. And then, just sit there and enjoy the game. I just needed, like, a cigar. Sit back like the Godfather.” Miles interjected: “A bit of brandy”. Fozia agreed and added: “Yeah. But I would have saved the drink and chucked it on Linda when I saw her.”
The Traitors will be aired from Wednesday to Friday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
