First aid course completion at Pembrokeshire sailing club

A number of members of Tenby Sailing Club have passed a recent RYA First Aid course.

The course took place on Sunday, December 15, at Neyland Marina and was led by Taff of PPSA.

Successful participants included Iolo Shaw, John McKellar, Chris Hill, Alistair Mackay, Bill Dowell, and Lewis James.

In other news, the sailing club has announced that from January 2025, members will be able to renew their memberships online via “MyClubhouse”.

All current members will receive a welcome email detailing first-time login instructions.

Membership cards will be accessible through an app.

Once set up, no further action is required until renewal notifications are sent out on December 27, 2024.

Members who do not have digital device access can continue to renew in the traditional manner.

Looking ahead, the Tenby Sailing Club Christmas party is scheduled for December 21, featuring a tapas buffet.

A gathering on Boxing Day will coincide with the traditional swim, and a grand New Year’s Eve party is also planned.

The club will temporarily close for maintenance from January 5, reopening on January 17.

Dinghy racing at Neyland Yacht Club kicks off on January 5, continuing until March 9, 2025, with two Sunday morning races each week.
