Collections scheduled between Monday, January 6, and Friday, January 10, will occur a day later. Collections of recycling and waste will return to normal from Monday, January 13.
Christmas tree collection
Croydon Council is running a Christmas tree disposal service on January 6. Residents are advised to put their trees out by 6 a.m. on that day.
To ensure bin crew collection, all decorations must be removed from the trees and visible outside your property. Trees must also be removed from their pots.
Residents will also be able to recycle their genuine Christmas trees free of charge at the household refuse and recycling centres across the borough.
If you subscribe to the council’s garden waste collection service, you can also cut it up and put it in your garden waste bin.
