Former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has shared his twin brother’s ‘fear’ before he entered the Love Island villa again.
Manchester PR boss Scott, 36, has headed to South Africa in the hope of finding love in spin-off Love Island: All Stars. The star first appeared on the ITV dating show almost eight years and fans may recall that he was coupled up with Kady McDermott.
At the time, the former couple dated for a year before calling quits on their relationship. As his brother attempts to find love again, Waterloo Road star Adam appeared on This Morning and revealed that the whole family are supporting Scott all the way.

Chatting to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Adam went on to say: “We are loving it, it’s just brilliant. The whole family got together and watched the first episode and it was just amazing. I am so happy for him and I just want him to be happy and enjoy it.”
Adam then admitted that Scott was ‘scared’ to tell people he was appearing on the dating series again. He revealed: “When he was going in there, he didn’t want to tell anyone because he was scared that people were going to talk him out of it, because he is 36-years-old going into Love Island, but he is just doing what he wants to do and I can’t wait to see him fall in love, if he does.”
Ben was quick to point out: “There are a lot of rumours of it being fixed and everybody knows each other.”

Adam replied: “I don’t know so.” Ben asked: “Scott sort of knew India right?” Adam opened up on their connection as he admitted: “Scott sort of knew India yeah because she is from Manchester so they have crossed paths before. Like Scott said, Ekin-Su slid into his DMs.” Everyone burst out laughing as Adam joked: “Why has he got all the DMs? I get nothing.”
It comes as Adam, brother Ryan and the rest of Scott’s family came together to watch the first episode of the new series on Monday night (January 13). At the time, Ryan took to Instagram and filmed his shock when Ekin-Su Culculoglu was revealed as the first bombshell of the series.
In the clip they could be seen screaming at the TV for Ekin-Su not to couple up with Scott – seconds before he admitted they’ve previously communicated.
