Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti’s five-word response to villa return

Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti issued a five-word response when grilled about whether he could return to the iconic villa.

The former Islander, 30, soared to fame back in 2022 when he won the hit ITV2 dating show with now-ex Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Earlier this week, Ekin-Su joined Love Island spin-off All Stars as a bombshell, where she coupled up with Curtis Pritchard.

With Ekin-Su entering the villa as a bombshell, many fans are hoping this could spell a return for Davide and he could also join the series as a bombshell.

However, it appears viewers’ hopes might be dashed as Davide has appeared to rule out a Love Island: All Stars appearance.

Posting pictures of himself at a snowy cabin getaway, Davide captioned his Instagram post with: “At peace in my happy place #cabinlife” to which one fan commented: “Get back to the villa” as Davide replied in a five-word comment: “I’m happy in the cabin!” followed by shrugging emojis.

Responding to Davide’s comment, another account said: “Great choice choosing peace over drama no genuine entertainment without ya x” to which the former Islander liked the comment.

It comes as Ekin-Su said about her return to Love Island: “I want to return to Love Island again because it’s where my journey started and has a special place in my heart. It’s somewhere I’ve laughed, cried and learnt so much.

“The fact that there’s an opportunity to do it again – why not! Why can’t a winner go back in and re-write her story and have a second chance?! I think you should follow your gut and my gut is telling me to go back, so I’m listening to it.”

Talking about her ideal love interest, she added: “I’m looking for someone who isn’t overly self-obsessed and someone that’s aware of flaws, because we all have them. I’d like a man that will love me when I’m in the worst mood possible but still understands why and has no judgments. I’d like someone supportive, I don’t care about looks and money – I want someone to be my biggest cheerleader.”

Speaking about what she’s learnt since leaving Love Island in 2022, Ekin-Su admitted: “I’ve learnt to take accountability when the time is right, and I’ve learnt to stand up for myself and have boundaries with guys and with friends. I’ve also learnt that it’s ok to be vulnerable with men – I always thought I had to be strong, but I’m allowed to cry sometimes and it’s not all about being strong.”

Love Island: All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
