A man has been charged after he allegedly attempted to flee from police in a white Audi near Clapham Junction Station.
The charges are in relation to a police chase that happened at 5pm on Friday, December 6 when a driver allegedly failed to stop along Livingstone Road.
The driver inside a white Audi collided with other vehicles and then attempted to flee.
He then exited the car and ran from officers but was quickly detained and tasered in the process.
Police have confirmed that drugs were recovered from a bag at the scene.
A viral TikTok with 1.4 million views captured the chaos as cars queued to leave a car park while the Audi tries to manoeuvre around them during the incident.
Remy Mcleod, 30, of Pumphouse Crescent in Watford appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday (December 9) charged with nine offences:

He will next appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, January 3.

“The charges are in relation to a police pursuit that happened at 17:00hrs on Friday, 6 December where a driver allegedly failed to stop near Clapham Junction Station, collided with other vehicles in Livingstone Road and then made off.
“Drugs were recovered from a bag at the scene.
“The man was arrested and later charged as above.”
