Man treated at scene of Orpington crash as car flips after crashing with railings

A man has been treated by paramedics following a crash in Orpington that left a car flipped on its side.

The London Ambulance Service was alerted to the incident in Station Road at 5.41pm on December 19.

They were joined by colleagues from the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade.

The first emergency responder arrived at the scene within six minutes of the call, where a car had crashed into railings before flipping onto its side.

Two fire engines were present and the road was partially blocked whilst the incident was dealt with before reopening shortly after 6.01pm.

A spokesperson for the Met said: “Police were called at about 17:40hrs on Thursday, 19 December to reports of an overturned car on Station Road in Orpington.

“Emergency services attended. One person was treated at the scene.”
