Platfform Wellbeing has gained the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accreditation.
This makes it one of a few services in Wales to achieve this status.
The BACP accreditation is a mark of quality and professionalism in the counselling industry.
Pete Johnson, commercial director at Platfform Wellbeing, said: “We are thrilled that the dedication and commitment of the Platfform Wellbeing counselling service have been recognised with BACP accreditation.
“The accreditation serves as a testament to the high standards of our systems and approach, offering reassurance to anyone seeking help with their mental health.”
Tracey Booth, lead counsellor, said: “Providing a safe, confidential, ethical, and compassionate service is central to the values of the team.
“BACP have recognised this in giving Platfform Wellbeing counselling service accreditation status.
“The team are passionate about the work we do and to have this recognised is a great achievement.”
The recognition was achieved after a rigorous process, involving policy development, documentation, and staff interviews.
