A MISSING person was found after a search from Angle RNLI in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The lifeboat crew at Angle RNLI were called at 3.23am on December 29 to help Dyfed-Powys Police in a search for a missing person in the Milford Haven area.
Concerns were raised by the police that the missing person had entered the water after an item of clothing was found on the beach, and the lifeboat crew were asked to help with the search.
The lifeboat crew were tasked with searching from Milford Beach to the Rath, and, shortly into the search, a person was spotted on the rocks to the east of Milford Beach.
Angle’s Y boat was deployed, and a crew member went ashore to reassure the casualty. The person was taken onboard the Y boat and taken to the police and members of Dale and Broad Haven Coastguard Rescue Teams. The Y boat crew then returned to the lifeboat to collect blankets for the casualty.
After a brief handover, the lifeboat returned to her berth and readied for further service by 4.45am.
