Nando’s Sutton restaurant closes for ‘some DIY’

A Nando’s in Sutton will be closed for a month as the restaurant undergoes a renovation.

The Nando’s restaurant on 9-11 High Street closed earlier this week for what the chain described as “some DIY”.

The restaurant is expected to reopen in the middle of February, but there is no set reopening date.

The restaurant will continue its food donation programme with City Harvest and is also looking to recruit some new employees before reopening.

A spokesperson for Nando’s said: “Our restaurant in Sutton is currently closed for some DIY – don’t worry though, we will be firing up the grills and welcoming customers back in mid-February.

“The restaurant will continue its No Chuckin’ Our Chicken food donation programme with local charity City Harvest and is also looking to recruit a few extra Nandocas [team members] to join the existing team, check out our career pages for more information.”
