A Newport pub is amongst 10 in Wales taking part in a special raffle.
The Maindee Hotel, Newport, is joining forces with other community pubs across Wales in a ’12 Days of Christmas’ celebration.
From Friday, December 13 to Tuesday, December 24, patrons purchasing a drink at their local Proper Pub will receive a raffle ticket for a daily draw.
Prizes include free drinks, bar tabs, and Christmas hampers.
The festive initiative aims to enhance the holiday spirit, inviting locals to enjoy a drink with the community and embrace the season.
Besides the Maindee Hotel, other participating Welsh pubs are the Bush Inn in Aberdare, Vale Of Rheidol in Aberystwyth, Goat Hotel in Bala, Griffin Inn in Mold, Y Pentan in Mold, Six Bells in Rhyl, St Georges Hotel in Swansea, Cross Foxes Inn in Wrexham, and Long Pull in Wrexham.
These pubs are part of Proper Pubs, the community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which owns more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland, and Wales.
