POLICE have said no one was hurt in an incident near a former pub.
A report of a crash came into Gwent Police near the junction for the former Stonehouse Inn pub in Cefn Fforest.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police confirmed to the Argus that the crash had involved two vehicles but that no one was injured as a result.
An official statement said: “It was a report of a two-car collision. No injuries were reported, and the call came in at around 5.40pm on Monday 16 December.”
The news was first highlighted on social media just after 6pm, and many people reacted to the news by calling for the junction to have traffic lights put in.
Multiple comments expressed a concern that parking for the nearby shop was a problem, as is allegedly speeding motorists.
