One of Britain’s best New Year’s parties returns to Pembrokeshire this year

One of the best New Year’s Eve street parties in the UK is taking place in a Pembrokeshire town very soon.

Fishguard New Year’s Eve Street Party celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with a headliner that promises to Shine.

It could just be the Greatest Day as Take That tribute band Rule the World takes to the stage to see in the new year with the hundreds of people who Flood Fishguard Square.

(Image: Western Telegraph) Could it be Magic? It could well be, as a piper plays in 2025 and the town’s amazing firework display lights up the skies in the first minutes of the new year.

If you haven’t got the Patience to wait for the main act, then pop along to the Square a little earlier where local band Tongue and Groove will set the scene and is guaranteed to get you up and dancing with its energetic mix of tunes from throughout the ages.

It Only Takes a Minute to buy a £6 wristband for the event. Never Forget that they are available from Cresswell’s Cafe , The Royal Oak , Fishguard Post Office and Goodwick Post Office.

Also on offer for the Kidz is a play zone in the town hall 2pm till 6pm. Entry is only £3 on the door, cash only, or free entry with a wristband.

If you are a bit cold and don’t want to Relight your Fire then the event’s 25 year anniversary merchandise, beanies and T shirts will keep you warm.

This year a percentage of the party’s raffle ticket sales will be donated to Shalom House which provide free, accessible, excellent holistic palliative care to all residents of Pembrokeshire diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness.
