The Ospreys have signed experienced second row Will Spencer from Northampton Saints.
The 32-year-old Englishman has been drafted in as injury cover to Wales international Adam Beard, who faces three months on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury during the autumn Test against Australia.
Spencer previously worked with Ospreys head coach Toby Booth at Bath and brings with him plenty of experience, having also represented Worcester Warriors and Leicester in between two stints at The Rec.

The 6ft 7in lock spent time in the French second tier last season having joined Soyaux-Angouleme as a medical joker, before moving to Northampton on a short term deal at the start of the 2024/25 campaign. So far this season, he has made two appearances for Saints in the Premiership Cup.
In 2017, Spencer – who also previously represented London Welsh – was called up to the England squad by Eddie Jones for a training camp, but he has never made an appearance at Test level.
He has been added to the Ospreys squad in time for their European Challenge Cup clash with Montpellier this weekend, with Booth’s side looking to build on their convincing 30-14 victory over the Lions last weekend.
