A pedestrian is in a critical condition after being hit by a van. Gwent Police are appealing for information following the incident which happened at around 9pm on Tuesday, January 14.
The incident happened on the A467 southbound side of the road in Risca, and involved a van and a pedestrian, according to a statement from the force. The pedestrian was taken to hospital where they are said to be in a critical condition.
Officers investigating the collision are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. A statement from the force, said: “Did you see any pedestrians on the A467 southbound between 8pm – 9pm, in the first parking area between Full Moon roundabout and Tesco roundabout? If you did, or have any other information or dasham footage, please call us on 101 quoting 2500014187.”
