Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward after a 21-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash at the weekend. The crash involved involved a yellow Honda motorcycle.
It happened on the A490, between Welshpool and Guilsfield, at approximately 1.45pm on Sunday, December 15.
A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Sadly a 21-year-old man, who was riding the MSX 125 bike, died at the scene. His family are currently being supported by specialist officers.”
The road was closed for several hours to allow collision investigation work to be carried out at the scene and re-opened around 9.25pm on Sunday evening.
Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the bike travelling through Welshpool and Guilsfield shortly before the collision to contact them.
They are also asking for anyone with CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam from the area to get in touch here or by calling Dyfed-Powys Police on 101 or emailing 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk. Quote reference 149 of December 15 if you call.
