Police helicopter helps search for gang spotted acting suspiciously in quiet spot

A Police helicopter was deployed on Monday night to the valleys to support Gwent Police during an incident involving a group of men.

The helicopter was dispatched from NPAS St Athan and flew to a location in Brynmawr.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We received a report of suspicious behaviour in Warwick Road, Brynmawr at around 8.15pm.

“It was reported that a group of men were acting suspiciously around a car that was parked outside an address.”

The incident took place at 20:29pm on Monday December 9th.

A spokesperson for NPAS added: “A police helicopter crew from NPAS St Athan was deployed to the Ebbw Vale area to support Gwent Police in a search for a suspect.

“Total flying time was 21 minutes.”

Gwent Police have said that enquires and still ongoing.
