Gwent Police are appealing for help to find a man who has been recalled to prison for breaching his license conditions. 31-year-old Shaun Davies, who is from the Aberbargoed area, was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for robbery in May 2022.
On March 5 2022, Davies wore a hood and a face mask as he entered the Family Choice Bargains convenience store in Aberbargoed, Caerphilly, after planning to rob the store. He told the shopkeeper he was armed, before pulling out a large blade and demanding money.
The shopkeeper refused to yield to Davies’ demands and instead tried to close the shutters. Davies grabbed four cans of Carling before running off.

He was sentenced to a total of four years and eight months imprisonment at Cardiff Crown Court. You can read more about the case here.
