Made a number of really good tackles, and a couple of decent runs, but turned into trouble too frequently.

Ben Cabango 5

So rusty for much of the afternoon. Made some decent tackles, but was visibly nervous all game.

Harry Darling 5

Some good defensive contributions, but tried to do too much in possession and didn’t look after the ball well enough.

Josh Tymon 5

Made a few good tackles, and played his part in the opening goal, but a quiet game by his standards

Goncalo Franco 6

Made some really good tackles in the middle of the park, but couldn’t quite wrestle control of midfield.

Matt Grimes (c) 6

As above, really.

Myles Peart-Harris 6

Had some really good moments out wide, but didn’t always look after possession well enough. Subbed.

Liam Cullen 7 – STAR MAN

Scored a stunning freekick, and was actually quite assured for much of the contest.

Ronald 5

Just didn’t get going. Frequently ran down blind alleys and didn’t look after possession well enough.

Zan Vipotnik 6

Took his goal very well, but did very little else.
