A popular Pembrokeshire pub has maintained its outstanding reputation after a young family took over two months ago.
Ashley Andrews and Sukie Richards, along with their son Romeo, were handed the reigns to The Brewery Inn, Cosheston from previous owners John Lowdon and Steven Lester in October.
Despite never running a pub before their takeover, the couple have already received several five-star reviews on Tripadvisor.

Co-owner of The Brewery Inn, Sukie Richards said: “Things have been going really well. We’re really busy. Coming into the festive period, the pub is buzzing because of all the support from the local community.
“We are fully booked every night and people are happy with the food. It’s hard work, but it’s very rewarding to make the customers happy. It makes it all worthwhile. Loads of customers come in every week and say we’re doing a good job.
“Locals want to help the village hub as it’s the centre of their community. They have been supportive by sharing on social media. Some of Ashley’s customers from where he used to work have even visited.
“It has gone even better than we expected, and all customers are coming back. We can’t believe it. We feel lucky and very blessed. We have a good support network of customers who are very loyal. We are grateful to all of them.”

Sukie continued: “We have decorated the pub for Christmas, and it has a certain charm about it. People say it looks elegant and classy.
“Our staff have new Christmas uniforms, and we have a few different Christmas menus. Everyone has been so happy.
“We also have events coming up. One is called Bamboozled which used to be hosted by the previous owners. It’s an event where the whole pub sings Christmas carols.”

Sukie and Ashley are now in the process of launching a brand-new website for their pub.
The pub remains one of the most highly rated in Pembrokeshire with over 940 reviews and an average rating of five stars out of five.
Before taking over, Sukie expressed how she and her partner did not want to change too much from the previous owners who ran the pub for ten years.
This includes keeping the pub dog-friendly and using local produce.
Ashley has been a chef for the last 12 years and takes pride in serving homemade food.
