Residents are being urged to raise concerns about anti-social behaviour in Bettws at a drop-in event.
The session, hosted by Newport West MS Jayne Bryant and Newport East MP Jessica Morden, will take place on Saturday, January 25, at the Active Living Centre, Bettws, from 10am to 12pm.
It aims to give residents a chance to share their experiences with the politicians and other community partners.
The event follows months of anti-social dispersal orders in the area amid concerns over certain groups’ behaviour.
Gangs have reportedly been causing distress in the community, prompting a local councillor to call for stricter rules on anti-social behaviour in Bettws.
The drop-in is seen as an opportunity for residents to voice their concerns directly to those in power.
