Some Southern trains running through Croydon will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.
The work will affect trains on Saturday (January 18) and Sunday (January 19).
We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.
Saturday and Sunday (January 18 and January 19):
Engineering work is taking place between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction, closing all lines.
From approximately 8pm on Saturday evening until the end of service, no Southern trains will run between Shepherd’s Bush and Watford Junction.
All day on Sunday, no trains will run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction.
Sunday (January 19):
Engineering work is taking place between Sydenham and Crystal Palace, closing all lines.
No trains will run between Balham and Norwood Junction or Sydenham.
Trains that usually run between London Bridge and London Victoria will not run.
No Southern trains will call at stations between London Bridge and East Croydon via Sydenham.
Engineering work is also taking place between Brighton and Angmering, closing all lines.
No trains will run between Brighton, Preston Park, Angmering, and Littlehampton.
Replacement buses will run between Brighton and Worthing and Littlehampton.
Trains between London Victoria and Littlehampton will be diverted to run to and from Brighton.
Engineering work is also taking place between Three Bridges and Brighton, closing all lines very early on Sunday morning.
As a result:
The 1.10am train from London Victoria to Brighton service will terminate at Three Bridges.
A replacement bus will run from Three Bridges to Brighton, calling at all stations.
The 4.24am train from Brighton to London Victoria will start from Three Bridges at 4.58am.
A replacement bus will run from Brighton earlier than the train it replaces at 3.19am to Three Bridges, calling at all stations and connecting with the amended train service.
A second bus will run from Brighton to Three Bridges, starting at 4.24am and not connecting with the amended train service.
