Southern trains cancelled or replaced by buses this weekend before Christmas

Due to planned engineering work, some Southern trains running through Croydon will be cancelled, diverted, or replaced by buses this week.

The work will affect trains on December 21 and December 22.

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

 

Saturday and Sunday (December 21 and December 22):

Engineering work is taking place between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction, affecting East Croydon and Clapham Junction lines.

As a result, from 8pm on Saturday until 12pm on Sunday, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.

 

Sunday (December 22):

All day on Sunday, services between Redhill and Tonbridge will run between Redhill and Edenbridge only.

Replacement buses will run between Edenbridge and Tonbridge.

Southern trains will also not run between Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour or Southampton Central.

Replacement bus services will run between Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour, and between Chichester and Southampton Central.
