The most and least used Bexley train stations

Bexley’s most and least used stations of 2024 have been revealed, with the most used having over 6,000 visits a day.

Data from On Time Trains has revealed how much stations across the UK were used, based on data on the average number of passengers who enter and exit the station every day.

We surveyed the data of Bexley’s 11 train stations, all managed by Southeastern, to find out which stations were the most and least used of 2024.

According to data, Sidcup was the most used station in the borough, with an average of 6,693 visits a day in 2024.

Overall, Sidcup was ranked to be the 707th best out of 2,639 stations across the UK, with an 88 per cent performance score.

Last year, 59 per cent of trains were recorded to be on time, with three per cent of trains late by 10 minutes or more and 2 percent cancelled.

The station serves as part of the Hither Green to Dartford line, with passengers able to travel to London Bridge and Charing Cross from Sidcup station.

By contrast, Bexley’s least used train station of 2024 was Albany Park, which had an average of 1,811 visitors a day last year.

The station also serves the Sidcup line run by Southeastern, and has an 87 percent performance score.

In 2024, 43 per cent of its trains were recorded as being on time, with 35 per cent of trains delayed by 1-2 minutes and 3 percent of trains delayed by 10 minutes or more.
