The South Western trains cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend

Some South Western trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to maintenance work.

The work will affect trains on Saturday and Sunday (December 21 and December 22).

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

 

Saturday and Sunday (December 21 and December 22):

Clandon area:

The lines in the Clandon area will be closed due to emergency works.

Trains will be unable to run between Guildford and Effingham Junction.

A revised service will run between London Waterloo and Effingham Junction.

Buses will run between Guildford, Effingham Junction and Epsom.

 

Sunday (December 22):

Tolworth area:

The lines in the Tolworth area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

London Waterloo to Chessington services will not run.

Passengers should travel on other services to Worcester Park.

Replacement buses will run between Worcester Park and Chessington South, calling at Malden Manor, Tolworth, Chessington North and Chessington South.

 

Havant area:

The lines in the Havant area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour via Guildford services will terminate at Petersfield.

Replacement buses will run between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour.

 

Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier:

The lines between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier services will not run.

Replacement buses will run between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier.
