The Traitors’ Fozia, who was ‘murdered’ in the seventh episode of the third series, has responded with the “perfect” reaction the revelation that fellow player, Charlotte, is not Welsh. On Wednesday evening, January 15, viewers saw Fozia leave after going head-to-head in the nerve-wracking Death Match card game.
And in the partner show, The Traitors Uncloaked, Fozia was treated to two revelations after she already met the traitors, Minah and Linda when she left the castle, which saw a tense exchange between her and the latter, more on that, here.

In the episode, the two got to find out a few secrets about their fellow contestants, including the fact that Charlotte was born and raised in London but was using a fake Welsh accent in the show. “I don’t know what that’s going to get her,” said Fozia.
The 32-year-old business director from London has a Welsh mum, but was born and raised in England. In the first episode of the BBC series, Charlotte revealed she would be adopting a fake Abergavenny accent during the show.
The contestant revealed that she hoped that adopting a fake Welsh accent would make her “more trustworthy” with her other contenders. Her game plan has seemingly worked well so far, with neither fellow Welsh contestants Leanne or Elen realising her accent is fake during the show.
But many have questioned why Charlotte has adopted a fake Welsh accent on the game show, with one fan on X branding it as a “hilariously unnecessary lie” and they’ve also cheered on Fozia for saying what the Traitors-loving nation has been saying for two weeks! On X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: “This was hilarious”, while another said: “‘I don’t know what that’s gonna get her’ exactly Fozia I’ve been asking myself the same”. Another fan remarked that “Fozia [is] speaking for the country”.

The next morning, the fellow contestants in the castle were told that four people, who had been selected by the Traitors, had taken part in the card game – Anna, Alexander, Leon and Fozia, with three saved but missing, and one ‘dead’.
Although fans were sad to see both Linda and Fozia go in the seventh episode of the series, viewers got to see two reunited once again in the visual podcast The Traitors: Uncloaked. On the sofa, the pair were joined by presenter Ed Gamble, as well as comedians Jo Brand and Josh Widdicombe, as well as series two Faithful-turned-Traitor Miles.
During their reunion, the pair embraced each other with Fozia saying: “It’s good to see you”. She then continued: “I’m so happy to see you. I was looking forward to seeing a few of the others, but I was waiting for a slippery snake to come through that door.”
The Traitors will be aired from Wednesday to Friday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
