Now the BBC Morning Live Traitors expert and DJ said: “The Round Tables last an average of three hours, maybe more—it’s absolutely horrific! Sitting there, you can feel your heart racing like crazy. It’s not a comfortable place to be, and definitely not for the faint-hearted.”

He also took pity on series three Welsh star Elen, who often became emotional at the roundtables. Jaz said: “Take Elen from this series, for example. She left early and admitted herself that she felt out of her depth.

“It was such a sweet and genuine thing to say, but it makes you wonder how someone like that could survive in such intense situations. She was just being herself, and I truly feel for people like her in a game like this. It can be such a brutal experience.”

Jaz, who became known by fans of the 2024 series as ‘Jazatha Christie’ for having his focus on the traitors from early on, also revealed the contestants are under strict watch while on the show, he said to online casino, SlotsCalendar : “There’s a security guard outside your room at all times. You have a toilet, but that’s it. Food is whatever you’re given—there’s no special requests.

“Phones are strictly forbidden. After filming, I said to the producer I’d call my partner, and she just laughed. There’s absolutely no communication with the outside world!” For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.
