Millions of mobile phone users are still experiencing issues after problems with the Three UK network. Users reported not being able to make or receive voice calls on Thursday afternoon.
One user in Cardiff said they thought it was just their phone but when they went to check there was someone on the door of the phone shop telling people it was a UK-wide issue.
The latest update from the network was at 11pm on Thursday saying: “There is an ongoing issue affecting a small percentage of voice services and we’re working hard to fix it. Data services are unaffected.” Read the biggest stories in Wales first by signing up to our daily newsletter here

The problems, which are also affecting related networks like Smarty and ID Mobile, were first reported on Downdetector at around 1.05pm on Thursday, January 23.
The network has currently given no timescale for a resolution to the issues, and have said that they are aware of a number of reports that customers have not been able to connect to 999 calls.
A statement posted on X said: “Data from the emergency services shows normal volumes of 999 calls being placed via our network are being connected. We’re taking these reports very seriously & are investigating this urgently. We apologise if anyone has been unable to successfully contact emergency services.
“While it is likely your call will connect correctly to 999, if you have any issues please try another network or landline. Please do not try and test 999 calls from your device as it may prevent genuine calls being answered quickly.”
