Town’s Freemasons show continued support for Pembrokeshire health charity

Freemasons in Tenby have continued their long-standing support for the Paul Sartori Foundation by donating £1,000 to the Pembrokeshire-based charity, which offers free specialised care and support for those in the later stages of any life-limiting illness.

They provide a range of services in the patient’s home, and help those close to the patient during the illness and through the bereavement period.

The donation was made following a boost of over £2,000 to the charitable funds held by Tenby Lodge when they staged a highly successful fund-raising barbecue event during the summer.

Lodge member Damian Brown made the grounds of his Ridgeway Park Resort  in Manorbier available for the event and over 100 people attended.

Sandra Dade, fund-raising manager for the Paul Sartori Foundation said: “ I would like to thank Tenby Lodge for this kind donation and your ongoing support.”

Lodge charity steward, Steve Thurgood, commented: “Tenby Lodge is delighted to donate the Foundation once again. It is a superb Pembrokeshire charity that has provided first class care and support to countless local people over the years, including some of our own members”.
