Train lines into Marylebone station blocked as signal fault sparks rush-hour chaos

Thousands of commuters heading into central London are facing serious disruption with a signal fault shutting all lines around Marylebone.

National Rail says trains running to and from the station may be be cancelled or delayed by up to 90 minutes.

It adds that “major disruption” is expected until 10am.

Meanwhile the Elizabeth line is suffering delays between Gidea Park and Shenfield due to a faulty train at Harold Wood.

There’s some grim news for anyone planning to travel into Marylebone station this morning.

A signal fault means all lines around the central London station are currently shut.

National Rail says the “major disruption” will last through the morning rush-hour until at least 10am.
