The pupils reportedly enjoyed the book, which is a paranormal fantasy adventure aimed at readers aged eight to 13.

The novel has received positive reviews, including a five-star rating in The Sun, a notable achievement for a self-published book.

It has also been well received by the South Wales Evening Post and maintains a five-star rating on Amazon.

Despite its success, the author is yet to receive coverage in his home city.

The novel is available in several independent bookshops across South Wales, including Griffin Books in Penarth, The Wellfield Bookshop in Roath, Cover to Cover in Swansea, and Pugh’s in Radyr.

It is also available on Amazon.

The book has been gaining traction between Halloween and Christmas as a ‘spooky stocking filler.’

The writer has been engaging with children during his school visits, encouraging them to draw inspiration from their surroundings to create their own stories.

He has been sharing his experience as a producer-director, as well as discussing ghost stories with the pupils.

Paul aims to continue school visits in January, and will be signing copies of his novel at the Caerphilly Artisan market on Saturday 21st December, as well as the Rusty Cauldron in Porthcawl on Sunday 22nd.
