A DRIVER without a licence or insurance was caught by police after they tried to get away.
Gwent police’s Commercial Vehicle Unit tried to stop the driver in Newport on Monday December 9.
But when they did so the driver did not stop, although they were unable to get away.
It was then found out that the driver did not even have a driver’s licence or insurance.
The car was seized at the scene.
Gwent Police said: “The Commercial Vehicle Unit tried to stop this vehicle in Newport today. It failed to stop but was unable to get away.
“Driver dealt with for failing to stop, poor driving, no insurance and no license. Car seized.”
