The standout item for us was the Katsu Wrap. Packed with flavor and generously filled, it tasted great. You can choose crispy or grilled chicken, paired with katsu sauce, crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce. On Wednesdays, it’s a steal at just £1.99.
If you’re craving katsu but short on time or ingredients, this wrap is a fantastic alternative. It’s perhaps similar to their Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets® which were on their 2021 menu. These were a hit with fans and when they left the menu, many were disappointed, so if you loved those nuggets, this wrap is sure to make you happy.
For those aiming to eat healthier, the grilled chicken option is a great choice. Both the grilled and crispy chicken wraps come in at under 500 calories, making it a guilt-free treat to kick off the year.
McDonald’s burgers – our verdict

We tried the new BBQ Ranch Stack. This burger has two 100 per cent beef patties, Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, crispy onions, creamy ranch and sweet BBQ sauce. Placed between a glazed sesame seed bun, it’s one to add to your takeaway order. If you love the McDonald’s Steakhouse Stack and Philly Cheese Stack, we don’t see any reason why you won’t like this.
McDonald’s Mozzarella Dippers – yay or nay?
If you want to get your hands on these, act fast as they’re available until March 25. You can get it as a three or nine-piece sharebox and of course, we’d recommend the latter, they’re pretty more-ish.
The salsa served with it is delicious and adds a real punch to your dinner – or lunch. We’d say it is more flavourful and has way more cheese than the average mozzarella sticks you’d get at your local supermarket.
