KNOWING what to do at the weekend can sometimes be a difficult task for some, especially if you’ve got a range of interests you need to satisfy.
From ultimate drinking experiences to farm workshops to live concerts and taster sessions, there’s something for everyone.
The Ultimate Bloody Mary Experience, Saturday, January 11, 11am-12.30pm
Silver Circle Distillery, Monmouth, is making waves with their unique and quirky Ultimate Bloody Mary in a soup can. Made with their own Black Garlic Vodka distilled at their distillery on a working farm in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside, it’s the perfect spicy pick-me up for a weekend brunch.
They now invite you to their distillery to learn more about the origins and history of this famous, tasty drink. The Ultimate Bloody Mary Experience celebrates the Bloody Mary in all its forms in a fun and playful format made to be enjoyed with friends.
The experience begins with a full size Ultimate Bloody Mary and a talk about its origins and associated culture around the world.
Next there follows a guided tasting of four legendary miniature Bloody Marys and Bloody Mary versions – The Caesar, The Mexikaner, The Bloody Samurai and the Michelada.
Finally you will get to craft your own perfect Bloody Mary, choosing from a variety of vodkas (including Black Garlic Vodka of course), hot sauces, spices and garnishes. Who can build the highest garnish tower? You can then enjoy your creation (or take it home in a takeaway can if you are driving), paired with a selection of snacks.
