Where and when to watch the Pembrokeshire Christmas Convoy this weekend

The biggest-ever Pembrokeshire Christmas Convoy hits the south county roads this weekend.

More than 140 vehicles have already registered to take part in the event which brings noisy festive cheer to communities as well as raising thousands of pounds for good causes.

This year, the convoy will be raising money for The Firefighters’ Charity and the Velindre Cancer Centre.

Participants, with their decorated lorries, trucks and cars, will be driving in from all over the area – including one from as far afield as Cornwall!

The Christmas Convoy gets underway at 5.30pm on Saturday December 14 and makes its way from the Folly Farm overflow car park via Tenby, New Hedges, Saundersfoot, Kilgetty, Begelly, Templeton and Narberth, where two laps of the town will conclude the event.

It’s not too late to take part with your festive vehicle – call organiser Leighton Harries or email (details on the Pembrokeshire Christmas Convoy Facebook page),  but any late entries are reminded that the car park gates will be closed by 5pm for judging of the best-decorated vehicle to take place.

Hot food and tea and coffee will be available and members of the public are welcome to go along.
