Winter Wonderland reopens despite weather warning issued for Storm Darragh

Winter Wonderland has reopened on the second day of Storm Darragh.

The strong winds from Storm Darragh caused Winter Wonderland to announce an emergency closure for yesterday (December 7).

This is the second time Winter Wonderland has closed down this year, following Storm Bert towards the end of November.

The Royal Parks decided to close Hyde Park due to gusts of up to 50mph, with a yellow weather warning in place until 6am today (December 8).

The yellow weather warning has since been extended to 6pm today.

Despite this, Winter Wonderland has reopened and will continue to operate as normal.

We’re pleased to confirm that Hyde Park Winter Wonderland will be open again tomorrow (Sunday 8th December 2024) from 11am.

We’re so excited to be welcoming you all back tomorrow, tickets are available to book online or via our app💙
