Woman dies after being hit by cyclist

A woman who was knocked over by a cyclist while out walking her dog has died in hospital. The 56-year-old was walking with her husband when she was hit by the bike on Moorland Road in Splott, Cardiff.

The cyclist has not been traced. Police are now appealing for information and have asked witnesses to come forward. The couple were out walking between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, when the collision happened. The woman was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where police said she died on Monday, January 13.

The cyclist, who is described as male, wearing a black face covering, white shirt, and red tie, is urged to come forward.
