A woman has been taken to hospital after a “hit and run” crash in South Norwood.
Emergency services were called just before 8am today (December 8) to reports of a crash between two cars on Portland Road.
The Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service, and the London Fire Brigade attended the scene.

A 25-year-old woman was taken to hospital for assessment, but her condition is not currently known.
The occupants of the other car left the scene before officers arrived, police said.
Several roads have been closed as emergency services deal with the incident.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 07:50hrs on Sunday, 8 December, to reports of a collision between two cars on Portland Road, SE25.
“Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and the London Fire Brigade attended.
“A 25-year-old woman was taken to a south London hospital where her condition is currently being assessed.
“The occupants of the other car left the scene before officers had arrived.
“A number of roads have been closed as emergency services deal with the incident.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 1646/08DEC.”
